Crack out the modestly-priced sparkling wine. Rip open a fun-sized bag of Malteesers.
Despite the best efforts of the joyless despots at a certain sinister Mega-global-corp, my blogging days are not quite over. Fustar.org (a cosy enough home for over 2 years) may have been razed to the ground, but in its place a shiny new (and practically identical) HQ now stands. Welcome to fustar.info…a domain not even God him/herself (should he/she exist) could sink.
If truth be told, I was reaching the point where I had become (as the infrequent posting might suggest) rather bored with the ol' blog, and had half-planned to tear it down myself. Of course, when that decision was taken for me (and the bulldozers had moved in) I quickly felt a keen sense of loss.
On top of that I received a few very nice and sincere messages from pals/readers/fellow bloggers that made me feel 'twas worth persisting with (albeit in new digs). So here we are.
Thanks to Blacknight for their reassurance and assistance. They are as kind as others are evil.

Hooray!
To combat blog boredom may I, as an ardent reader, grant you the rights to abandon all your previous stated intentions and do something completely different with fustar.info for a while.
Let yourself wander free- safe in the knowledge that what might not have been in keeping with fustar.org will be just the sort of thing that fustar.info is about.
October 9th, 2007 at 6:57 amDon’t stop the music. Manky toy Monday is the tonic of the nation.
October 9th, 2007 at 9:29 amSimon, A splendid idea. The self-imposed shackles and structure of the “age of org” will be cast aside. We now enter into a period of exciting planetary alignment called “the age of info”.
Green Ink, MTM will never fully die…but it needs the EU to loosen up RE: quality control for really top-class garbage to become available to review.

Lazarus-like the blog is arisen.
MTM is a worthwhile exercise, but unfortunately Mattel’s Chinese factories seem to have taken the concept too much to heart and have produced a ‘Manky Toy Summer’ with all those lead-based recalls.
And as for the pesky EU… do they not know that dangerous toys are the Darwinian deus ex machina of the playground?
Best of luck in the new digs…

Message Ends.
October 9th, 2007 at 7:53 pmWelcome back Fustar, .info has a much nicer ring to it anyhow, never liked .org
October 10th, 2007 at 8:42 amThanks all. I never had a problem with the “org”. The “borg” on the other hand…
