RE: The above Banshee verse. One can’t help but wonder who actually wrote it. Someone had to! Are there wandering bards who specialise in this kind of thing?

Ira, If I was blessed with the gift of pre-cognition I’d be expecting better visions than ones about crisps, Meatloaf & Lars Ulrich…

Perhaps the crisp event will turn out to be an ironic/amusing end of news type affair like “Earthquake crisp factory destroyed by earthquake”.

Hopefully they won’t be tainted like the recent Tomato problem.

No idea what the “recent Tomato problem” was but it sounds hilarious.

I haven’t looked at recent posts to see if there’s been an earth-shattering news story about chips.

Just discovered another review of Banshee Bones! Good ol’ interweb.

Amazingly, Perri seem to have penetrated (and “penetrated” is an entirely appropriate term) the American Market as the reviewed pack was “discovered by Jeremy at Kiki’s Kwik-Mart, Brighton, Massachusetts.”

Jeremy’s findings?

At first, there was a strong, tangy vinegar kick, but after that they felt and tasted a lot like cheese puffs.

Ira, Can’t open your link but I’m guessing (from the url) that the crisps in question are disaster themed. Not a crisp subculture I’ve come across here.
