I suggest that your postcard should be sent, with as sober a written complaint as you can manage on the obverse, to the Editor, RTE News.

Or else I could commend them on their apology and articulate my profound disgust at the disgusting besmirching of our Taoiseach. A follow up postcard to RTE would then read: "Sirs. Imagine my horror when I realised that the reverse of the postcard I originally sent you (which, I confess to my shame, I failed to study in any significant detail) contained a revolting and grossly indecent portrait of An Taoiseach. How such a thing came to pass I cannot begin to imagine. It was the one thing I didn't want to happen."
